Welcome
Welcome to Lone Wolf. This is my blog, and I appreciate you taking time to read.
I have a YouTube channel with similar information, but find I express and articulate myself best through writing.
So, what am I doing here? On a platform like this, at a time when literally everyone and their dog is clamoring for their piece of internet real estate, some might call it silly, or odd, or even worthless. I have been called much worse. I am attempting to infuse something good, meaningful, raw, and wholesome into a medium super-saturated with heartlessness.
Lone Wolf is an endeavor I have been cultivating based on my personal experiences of life. I have found myself compelled to use this as an outlet for recent painful experiences, specifically in my work and career worlds. I've had many painful experiences in life, including: 1)chronic illness, including crippling anxiety and soul-crushing depression, 2) mistreatment by a society that sometimes seems determined to ridicule, torment, terrorize, and abandon me, and 3)debilitating job and career setbacks that are as frightening as they are painful.
However, I have realized experiences like mine are increasingly common, and there are those who may benefit from what I have to share. There are many hurting people, and I remember that pain well. I promised myself, if I ever found answers and solutions, I'd do my best to share them. This serves as both an outlet for me, as well as a place to make my experience available to any others who may benefit from it.
I have been fortunate through the years to have both accumulated and developed tools and concepts which have helped this Lone Wolf survive and thrive in life against some overwhelming odds. I wish to share this for others who may also feel like lone wolves, but have not had the opportunity to learn what I have.
Lone Wolf will be a conglomerate of concepts and mediums, namely this blog and my YouTube Channel. It will also include concepts related to a unique version of applied cultural anthropology–namely philosophy, history, and politics–in an effort to gain a more whole, healthy perspective on life and the world. Recent events have made this a lively time to exist as a human, and we lone wolves tend to feel it most, out on the fringes of society. We are, as Robert Frost would say, among the "race of men who don’t fit in." I would like to think that is one of many qualities that makes us vital for the world, but more on that later.
Who knows where this blog will go, if anywhere? In world filled with content, and even more creators, it seems useless to some, but if even one person finds this who really needs it, applies it, and feels better about themselves and their lives because if it, that is worth a million Pulitzer awards. I am mostly doing this for me, to know I at least explored ways to leave the best of myself in the world. I believe lone wolves like us are a crucial element in restoring a healthy society. We represent the few with the experience, heart, and resilience to pioneer a better trajectory, away from the chaotic course toward which humanity seems to be heading.
My next blog will cover the Cherokee Prover of Two Wolves, which, fitting analogy to boot, I feel sets a powerful foundation not only for this platform, but for life in general.
